What A Week

Last week was just a week filled with indecision, raining off and on and its hard to make any plans. We made up our mind we would load up and head for Iowa on Friday and go ahead and race the sport mod over there and take some time and look around and get things figured out for the move, Mother nature had other ideas, after I searched to locate gears and got them all changed, the rain changed everything and rained out all of our possibilities. So changed the gears again and rolled the dice for I-80 Speedway, I will have to say that just maybe mother nature knew what she was doing. Made the pull up to I-80 and had just one small shower but the temperatures were cold and windy. Started 6th in my heat race and got a 2nd place out of that. Lined up 5th for the A feature and after a really good and competitive race with some racers that I have always enjoyed and respected, I got my very 1st A feature win in a Sport Mod. Cant even begin to describe what that feels like. We have been so close several times and Friday night I knew I had the car figured out and had a shot at the win. Such a great feeling of accomplishment to get this win, not just for myself but also for all the amazing family, friends and sponsors that I have helping me make this all happen. My Dad, Denny, Mom, Ron Fox, Eric, Jet and all the others who step up each and every week to help me out, it means so much, cause you guys believe in me more than anyone and that makes all the difference. Spent some shop time on Saturday, its time for Jake Harms to get back out on the track and Sunday left early and went to Iowa and got familiar with where I will be working and then went and picked up Layne, what a great thing to pull into the driveway and have him waiting for me at the window. All of our work is done for the new website and now we have just a little more time and it will be up and running. The shirts they have designed are really something that I'm very happy with and look forward to them being available. Contacting My Race Pass was the best thing I've done for a long time, mark my word, they are a company to watch. DRIVERS, you can claim your profile for free and it doesn't come with ANY facebook drama, trust me!! I ran through the list of drivers available and there are a bunch of you I know on the list, so go get them. The day is very close when I leave, only plan to race on Friday at Beatrice, have to see how things go for Saturday. Gonna miss everyone from around here and sure hope I can get the chance to come back here and race from time to time cause in case you haven't heard, I'm only taking 1 race car with me, which means I will be back cause you know I cant leave a good race car alone. Demon Decals took on the huge task of helping us to get all the fan decals done so we can continue on with our fan of the week, which we have some really cool decals you guys sent us so this is gonna be a cool deal, this weeks fans of the week at Beatrice Speedway will be Lindsey Meints and Darcie Reed, your shirts and admission will be with me at Beatrice Speedway Friday night or I will get it mailed to you, thank you again for all the great fan support I've had these last 12 years at Beatrice Speedway and please come help me celebrate Friday night, there are several banners hanging in the trailer and I would be very happy if you could all come and sign one for me, Adam
