Gresham Joins HTF's 2025 Rookie Battle

Mario Gresham will Hunt the Front in 2025 with a run at both the $50,000 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series points championship and the tour’s $5,000 Rookie of the Year Award!

The 40-year-old Rome, Ga., driver has nearly two decades of experience behind the wheel, but tackling the Super Late Model division will be a new challenge for the longtime Crate Late Model ace who has run roughly a dozen open-engine races in his career.

A frequent contender in Crate Racin' USA events across the Southeast, Gresham is coming off an impressive 2024 season that saw him score nine wins including victories at the World Short Track Championship at The Dirt Track at Charlotte and the CRUSA Winter Nationals at East Bay Raceway Park. Gresham hopes that momentum will carry over to the HTF Series, where he’ll face a new level of competition as he looks to establish himself in the Super Late Model ranks.

Gresham is the fifth driver approved to chase Rookie of the Year honors on this year’s HTF tour. He joins an impressive list that also includes Christian Hanger of Winchester, Tenn., Dillard Hatchett of Cornersville, Tenn., Oakey Johns of Hohenwald, Tenn., and Luke Morey of Denver, N.C.

The chase for the $50,000 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series title begins March 8 with a $20,000-to-win event at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn.
