Started racing in 1984 in 4 stroke Karting,
Made 3 appearances in the IKF 5b Dirt 2 stroke Nationals best finish was a 3rd.
Was a partner/co-driver in a Late Model ar Red River Valley Speedway in 1986 and 1987 Splitting the driving duties with Vernon Lee and Gary Sorum in Fargo, ND actually won a consolation race.
Ran 5 nights in a dirt midget in Arizona at Manzanita in Phoenix, and 2 nights at the former Raven Raceway in Tucson, 2 races at the former Duke City in Albuquerque, NM
Since then there have been scattered one off driving engagements in pure stocks, Legends, X Modifieds and Hobby stocks.

Fielded the fastest V-6 production SUV in NHRA history and hold history making passes and 2 national records at Brainerd, MN (Brainerd International Raceway) in AX/Stock Truck, and Sportsman ET with a 1994 Ford Explorer
1 year later, the NHRA Moved all wheel drive SUV's to ET or Bracket Racing For safety reasons. Those 2 records are locked in history and will live in the NHRA record books forever.

in March of 2021 Brian Spieker tested in a RaceSaver Sprint Car in Minnesota and that secured his drive to return to Motorsports most likely in a Dirt winged 360 Sprint.

Most Memorable Moment


1990 - Getting to work as a pit member for Jordan Formula One for a week... and actually being allowed to get in the car and steer it to tech and back to the pit prior ro qualifying.
