Kolby Vandenbergh Competes With Lucas Oil Series at Tri-City and Macon

On Friday night Kolby Vandenbergh invaded Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Illinois) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Busch 50. Drawing 34 Super Late Models, Vandenbergh came up one spot short of a transfer position in his heat race with a 5th place finish. Transferring into the B-Main, Kolby streaked to 12-lap consolation victory positioning him 18th on the starting grid for the feature. Saturday night brought 25 LOLMDS competitors to Macon Speedway (Macon, Illinois) for the St. Louis U-Pic-A-Part 100. Following a 7th place finish in his heat, Vandenbergh jumped up four spots in the 100-lap feature to place 17th.
