Dillard captures home state victory at Revolution Park with Comp Cams

Pockets $5,000 in First Career Series Victory at Reopened Louisiana Oval

ROBELINE, La. (05/20/25) – Cade Dillard made a victorious return to Revolution Park this past weekend, claiming a $5,000 triumph in his S&S Fishing & Rental / Joel’s Auto Sales / Strength Roofing & Siding No. 97 Longhorn Chassis Late Model.

The win marked Dillard’s first career Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory at the newly reopened Louisiana oval and his sixth overall of the 2025 campaign.

“We could maneuver around there early, then the top just kinda got crumbed up a little bit. It got bottom dominant, I got to those lapped cars fine, but wasn’t able to do anything on the top,” Dillard said. “I want to thank all these fans for coming out, it’s cool to see this place going again. I used to come race here when it was asphalt and always loved this place, this facility and this area.”

Dillard’s lone start of the weekend came just over 100 miles from his hometown, as Revolution Park’s 3/8-mile oval welcomed the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series for the first time.

The Robeline, Louisiana native set the tone early by earning overall fast time honors in a 25-car field, then followed up with a dominant heat race win. Carrying that same momentum into the main event, Dillard led all 30 laps en route to a flag-to-flag victory and a $5,000 payday.

He crossed the finish line ahead of runner-up Charlie Cole, with Mike Palasini Jr. completing the podium.

Dillard is poised for another outing in his Late Model as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series rolls into the acclaimed Lucas Oil Speedway for its Memorial Day weekend showcase. The tripleheader begins with Thursday’s Cowboy Classic, continues Friday with the Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson, and concludes Saturday with the $75,000-to-win Show-Me 100 finale.
