Sam Seawright grabs $10,053 payday with Southern Nationals at North Georgia Speedway

For one night only, Sam Seawright joined the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series on Friday evening for the $10,053 show at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.).

Out of 27 Super Late Model entries, Seawright clocked in second-fastest before taking the checkered flag in his heat race. Sam ran runner-up for the half of the 53-lap main event before he powered around Dale McDowell and took the lead. Seawright led the remaining 25 circuits and held off Zack Mitchell to pick up the $10,053 payday and his second-career victory with the tour.
