Ferguson lands 12th-place finish in Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora
Opening up the weekend with a $20,000-to-win FloRacing show, Chris Ferguson was one of 85 Super Late Models at Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Wednesday evening for the 31st-annual Dirt Late Model Dream.
Ferguson kicked off the four-day weekend by racing his way into the FloRacing Night in America show and finishing 21st. Locked in for his preliminary night on Thursday, Chris qualified sixth-fastest in his group before finishing runner-up in a heat. Ferguson started from the fifth-row in the $30,000-to-win prelim and wound up with a 10th-place outing.
Starting on the front-row of a Saturday heat race, Ferguson secured a heat race win over Daulton Wilson and Josh Rice which put him on the third-row for the $100,000-to-win finale. Chris went on to finish 12th in the 100-lapper.
