Robinson follows AMS to Path Valley, Bedford, and Bridgeport
Ross Robinson returned to the road Tuesday night with the Selinsgrove Ford Appalachian Mountain Speedweek at Path Valley Speedway, taking part in the second round of the rain-hampered miniseries.
Robinson kicked off the night with a strong heat race win, but his momentum was cut short by an early mechanical issue in the feature, forcing him pitside on lap 12.
With Thursday’s event at Selinsgrove Speedway rained out, the team regrouped for Friday’s stop at Bedford Speedway. Robinson secured a starting spot in the feature through the dash, but misfortune struck again when a blown engine forced him to scratch from the 35-lap main event.
Following yet another rainout Saturday at Lincoln Speedway, Robinson wrapped up his Speedweek efforts on Sunday at Bridgeport Motorsports Park, where he salvaged a 15th-place finish to close the week.
