Robinson visits Lernerville for Firecracker 100
Ross Robinson returned to action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series over the weekend as the national tour rolled into Lernerville Speedway for the 19th annual Firecracker 100.
Persistent rain throughout the three-day span forced officials to condense the crown jewel event into a single-day program on Saturday. In heat race competition, Robinson came up just one position short of a transfer spot with a fourth-place finish, sending him to a B-Main for another shot at the $50,000-to-win main event.
Needing to finish inside the top two to advance, Robinson crossed the line sixth, ending his night early.
