Top-10 finish in Connor Bobik Memorial at Marion Center Raceway

After inclement weather forced the cancellation of Friday’s World of Outlaws (WoO) Real American Beer Late Model Series opener, Gregg Satterlee returned to Marion Center Raceway on Saturday for the second round of the Conor Bobik Memorial.

Falling just one position short of a transfer in his heat race, Satterlee secured a spot in the $30,000-to-win A-Main by winning his consolation. Rolling off from the ninth row, he charged forward nine positions in the 60-lap feature to notch a solid ninth-place finish.

Satterlee also entered Sunday’s Billy Winn Classic at Bedford Speedway, but his night came to an early end after a sixth-place finish in the B-Main left him short of a transfer spot.
