Morgan Ward races to 10th-place result at Brown County Speedway

On Friday, Morgan Ward was part of a 29-car WISSOTA Late Model field during the first night of Brown County Speedway’s Winter Nationals event. At the 3/8-mile clay oval in Aberdeen, South Dakota, she scored her eighth top-10 finish of the year.

Ward began her evening by driving her Grosz Excavating No. 37JR Late Model from fourth to second in her heat race. She then started fourth in the 25-lap, $1,200-to-win feature and finished 10th.

Ward did not compete in the Saturday portion of the Winter Nationals.
