Arron Slightom is an outlaw kart driver out of Chico, CA. Born in Chico, CA. Arron's background goes all the way back to 2012 when he started his racing career at only 4 years old when his dad Michael Slightom Jr. bought him his outlaw kart and Arron stayed in beginner box for around 4 years until he switched into the box stock division. During his career in box stock he didn't end up getting any main event wins but ended up top 10 in points and during the 2018 West Coast Nationals Arron won the slow dash and ended up top 5 in the A-Main after flipping earlier that race. Then during the 2018 Cycleland Speedway season Arron advanced to the 250 Intermediate division and got about two races in and then got cut off on November 8th of 2018 when the Paradise Camp Fire burned down his house and his dads business with his kart along with it. And that was the end for awhile Arron didn't race anymore until during the Gold Cup at Silver Dollar Speedway in 2022, his dad got a deal on a new open kart and after consideration he took it and Arron Slightom was back racing this time in a 500 which he still races to this day.
