Fourth and second-place runs with Tri-State Series at Brown County and Dakota State Fair
Blair Nothdurft took part in the Tri-State Series opening weekend as the tour traveled to Brown County Speedway (Aberdeen S.D.) on Friday and Dakoda State Fair Speedway (Huron, S.D.) on Saturday.
As over 50 Late Models descended for the season opener, Nothdurft picked up a heat race win which earned him a second-row starting spot in the A-Main. Blair made his way to the front and briefly led before settling for a fourth-place outing.
With $5,000 up for grabs the following night, Blair stormed forward in his heat race and would start from the third-row in the feature event. Nothdurft once again made his way to the front of the field but crossed the line one spot short of the victory in second. He trailed Chad Becker while Mike Stearns completed the Top-3.
