Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Invades Limaland and Montpelier June 27-28

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (June 23, 2025)—An Ohio & Indiana doubleheader is next for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP. On Friday June 27, the series will make its first appearance since 2007 to Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio paying $5,000-to-win. On Saturday June 28, the series will visit Montpelier (Ind.) Speedway for the first time since 1999 for another $5,000-to-win event. Both events are sponsored by LUSESTYLE.com.

These events at Limaland and Montpelier will be rounds two and three of the Valvoline Weekend Allstars mini-tour. Rusty Schlenk leads the Valvoline Weekend Allstars Mini-tour points with a five-point lead over Colten Burdette, Ryan Markham, Todd Brennan & Kyle Moore rounding out the current top-five.

Colten Burdette of Parkersburg, W.V. currently leads the championship points over Rusty Schlenk with just a three-point lead. Rod Conley, Seth Daniels & Dusty Moore complete the current top-five in the current championship points battle.

On Friday June 27th at Limaland Motorsports Park, the pit gates will open at 4:30 pm, the grandstand gates will open at 5:00 pm, the drivers meeting will be at 6:00 pm and hot laps will roll out around 6:30 pm. Adult grandstand admission is $22 while adult pit passes are $35. The UMP Modifieds and Thunderstocks will also be in action.

On Saturday June 28th at Montpelier (Ind.) Speedway, the pit gates will open at 3:00 pm, the grandstand gates will open at 4:00 pm, the drivers meeting will be at 5:30 pm and hot laps will roll out around 6:00 pm. Adult grandstand admission is $25 while adult pit passes are $35. The UMP Modifieds, Street Stocks & Hornets will also be in action.

The tire rule for each night will be as follows: Fronts & Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3; Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2, NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The entry fee is $50.00 per night. All cars that do not make the feature event each night will receive $75 tow money.
