4B4EVER 40 Goes July 3rd for Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series at Mudlick Valley Raceway

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (June 30, 2025)—The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP co-sanctioned with the Battle of the Bluegrass DIRTcar Series will visit Mudlick Valley Raceway for the fourth-ever time on Thursday Night July 3rd for the 5th Annual 4B4EVER 40 paying $10,000-to-win and $500-to-start.

The race honors the late Jackie Boggs, dubbed the “Last True Outlaw” who passed away on October 24, 2020. The Grayson, Ky. native was 51. Not only did Boggs enjoy a long successful career in the 4B Motorsports entry, his victory list included nine American Late Model Iron-Man Series wins, three Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series & World of Outlaws Late Model Series event victories, eleven Mid-Atlantic Championship Series races, four STARS & Battle of the Bluegrass Series paydays among many regional and local victories in the famed No. 4B.

The KDRA Super Stock Series presented by Todd Steel Buildings will also be in action racing 20 laps for $1,500-to-win followed by racing action in the Sport Mods & Hornets. In addition to the racing program, a huge fireworks show will light up the evening sky to celebrate America’s 249th Birthday. The event is sponsored by People’s Bank of Kentucky, Inc., Story Realty of Flemingsburg, Ky., & Cheap Chevrolet of Flemingsburg, Ky.

On July 3, the gates open at 3:00 pm with Hot Laps slated for 7:30 pm. Adult general admission is $25 and adult pit passes are $45. Former winners of the 4B4EVER race include Tyler Erb in 2021, Zack Dohm in 2022, Drake Troutman in 2023 & Carson Ferguson in 2024. 2024 Series winners to Mudlick Valley Raceway included Josh Rice (twice) and Freddie Carpenter.

The tire rule will be as follows: Fronts & Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3; Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2, NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The entry fee is $50. All cars that do not make the feature event will receive $75 tow money.
