5th Annual Dustbuster 40 Pays Record $7,500-to-win on July 18 at MRP Raceway Park
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (July 14, 2025)—The Dustbuster 40 keeps growing at MRP Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio. The fifth annual edition of the blockbuster event pays $7,500-to-win and $1,000-to-start the 22-car field on Friday July 18. In addition, L&M Performance will be paying each Heat Race a record $2,000-to-win, $500 for second, $250 for third and $150 for fourth for the four heat races. A record $50,000 in payouts will go to drivers during the evening’s activities. A last chance Dash will take the winner to the main event, giving drivers one more shot after the B-Mains to try and get into the show.
During last year’s thriller, Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, N.C. took home the $7,000 payday over Josh Rice of Crittenden, Ky., Jason Jameson of Lawrenceburg, Ind., R.J. Conley of Wheelersburg, Ohio & Devin Gilpin of Columbus, Ind.
The Valvoline Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP (UMP DIRTcar-sanctioned) will sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event and the tire rule will be as follows: Hoosier NLMT 2, Hoosier NLMT 3, and Hoosier NLMT 4 anywhere on the car (there is no limit on the number of tires used; the droop rule will be in effect, along with the Unified Dirt Late Model Car Construction rules). There is NO entry fee for this (courtesy of MRP Raceway Park) and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track. Any driver that does not transfer from a B-Main will receive $150 tow money.
Activities at MRP Raceway Park for the 4th Annual Dustbuster 40 on Friday July 18 will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:30 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., with hot laps and time trials beginning at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices at MRP Raceway Park for the 4th Annual Dustbuster 40 on Friday July 18 in the general admission area will be $25 for adults, while a pit pass will be $45. The Sport Mods will race for $700-to-win, the Compacts will race for $400-to-win and the Legends will compete for $300-to-win.
