Meghan Seagraves and Ayden Tumbleson Earn First-Ever “Race of the Race” Award at JCS

At Friday night’s Ohio Valley SCDRA show on June 6th at Jackson County Speedway, Jerry Jewell introduced a new award called the “Race of the Race.” It’s meant to recognize the drivers who raced their asses off—not necessarily the ones who won, but the ones who put on a clean, hard-fought, and respectful battle on track.

Jerry said the idea behind it was simple: “For the cars that raced best against each other during the race.” No contact, no drama—just good, honest racing that fans can appreciate.

The first recipients of the award were Meghan Seagraves and Ayden Tumbleson. When asked why he picked them, Jerry simply said, “I liked the way they raced.”

Big thanks to SewInsane Embroidery and Jerry E Jewell for making the award possible. You’ll be seeing more of these handed out at future events.
