Big Rig Night & Saturday Night Thunder Results & Recap

The Jamestown Speedway was back in action on Saturday, May 31st for the second time in the 2025 season presented by Dakota Spirit. The weather was beautiful, a little smoky from the wildfires, and the track was super racy with lots of battles throughout the night. Thank you to the track prep crew for all of their countless hours of work this past week to help provide a racy track for everyone. Overall, it was a great night to be back at the track for racing and in total, we had 103 cars in the pits to do battle on Saturday Night.

Bombers/Hobby Stocks - 19 Cars:

  • Winner: Ryker Vetter (1st Jamestown Win!), Runner-Up: Billy Carow
  • Hard Charger: Tripp Nelson +9 (16th to 7th)

INEX Legends (Sponsored by Wright Insurance Agency) - 23 Cars:

  • Winner: Gage Madler, Runner-Up: Donavin Wiest
  • Hard Charger: Gus Jensen +11 (19th to 8th)

Wissota Midwest Modifieds (Sponsored by Gerdau Recycling) - 18 Cars:

Jr. Slingshots - 10 Cars:

Once again, thank you to all of the drivers, fans, sponsors, and track personnel that came out to the show on Saturday night. We really appreciate everyone's support at the Jamestown Speedway and we have to thank everyone for coming out. We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see everyone back throughout the season.

Please join us next week for some more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown's 1/4 mile high-bank oval. Next week Saturday, June 7th is the 6TH ANNUAL DON GUMKE RACERS' MEMORIAL at the Jamestown Speedway. The IMCA Modifieds will be running for an increased purse in memory of Don Gumke. The INEX Legends will be running for an increased purse of $300 to Win as part of the Legendary Tour for the INEX Legends and the Bombers drivers will be running for increased payout as part of the Mary Vetter Challenge. The Wissota Street Stocks, Wissota Midwest Modifieds, and Jr. Slingshots will also be in action. The grandstand gates open at 5:30 pm and racing action begins at 7:00 pm. Hope to see everyone next week Saturday for racing at the Jamestown Speedway!
