USCS and USAC Midgets Headline Big Night of Racing
After taking a weekend off to celebrate Mother's Day, Santa Maria Speedway is ready to open the gates for an exciting lineup this Saturday, May 17th. USCS Sprint Cars and USAC Western States Midgets will headline the event for their first stop at the third-mile clay oval. SoCal Dwarf Cars and American Stocks will also be making their first appearance of the season.
USCS Sprints made two appearances in their inaugural season at Santa Maria Speedway in 2024 with Ryan Bernal and Kaleb Montgomery being victorious.
USAC Western States Midgets have a longstanding history at Santa Maria with the track having hosted the series 42 times since 1985. Legendary Sleepy Tripp was the inaugural winner at that time. The last time the series visited in 2024 it featured a first time winner in Drake Edwards.
SoCal Dwarf Cars will make their first appearance in 2025 and will be preparing for their Dwarf Car Nationals that will be hosted at Santa Maria Speedway on June 12th, 13th and 14th.
American Stocks have partnered with Bakersfield's Motor City Buick/GMC to encourage an "East vs West" style event, helping Central Valley's drivers make the trip to the Coast. With only two American Stock events on the schedule, it will be an exciting and competitive night of racing for the division.
In 2025 parking is free at the Speedway. Fan gates will open at 4:00 PM with ticket prices as follows: $25 Adults, $23 Seniors and Military, $10 ages 11-17, and FREE for 10 and under. Racing will begin at 6:00 PM. Concession and beer stand will be open and ready to serve you.
