Rain Postpones Friday's Driven2SaveLives Battle at the 'Burg, Officials Pursuing Makeup Date
LAWRENCEBURG, IN (May 30, 2025) – Mother Nature has unfortunately postponed Friday's Driven2SaveLives Battle at the 'Burg featuring Kubota High Limit Racing at Lawrenceburg Speedway.
Despite the best efforts from the track crew to prepare for incoming rain, the early-morning onslaught of thunderstorms - which brought more than an inch of precipitation - proved to be too much for the facility to handle on short notice and already saturated grounds.
Kubota High Limit Racing and Lawrenceburg Speedway officials are actively pursuing a rescheduled event suitable for all parties, and will announce a decision once finalized. All tickets will remain valid in the case of a makeup date.
In the meantime, the focus for Kubota High Limit Racing turns to Butler Motor Speedway in Quincy, Michigan on Saturday, May 31. The $12,085-to-win Mace Thomas Classic was a major hit in 2024, bringing the series to "The Great Lake State" for the first time ever and promptly delivering a sold-out crowd and a feature that was voted "Race of the Year" with High Limit.
After that, the Roto-Rooter Midweek Series resumes action with back-to-back nights in Wisconsin as Francis Creek's 141 Speedway hosts the $26,000-to-win Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race on Tuesday, June 3 and Menomonie's Red Cedar Speedway brings the series to town on Wednesday, June 4.
Fans can buy tickets to all upcoming races at http://bit.ly/3Bsb4Sa - remember, every pre-sale ticket purchase enters you to be selected for the DURST Dice Roll.
