Mother Nature Wins the Frazer's Place Superstreet Summer Nationals at Claremont Motorsports Park
CLAREMONT, NH — Claremont Motorsports Park officials have made the difficult decision to postpone today’s Frazer’s Place Superstreet Summer Nationals for the R.E. Hinkley Super Streets, as persistent inclement weather continues to blanket the region.
With steady rain falling throughout the morning and early afternoon—and forecasted thunderstorms threatening the area during the scheduled race window—track and series officials agreed that postponement was the safest and most reasonable course of action for drivers, teams, and fans alike.
“This is one of the biggest Super Street races of the season, and we want to ensure it gets the attention and competition it deserves,” said Mike Parks General manager of Claremont Motorsports Park. “Unfortunately, today’s weather just isn’t giving us a safe or fair opportunity to do that.”
A rescheduled date for the Frazer’s Place Superstreet Summer Nationals will be announced in the coming days. Fans and competitors are encouraged to stay tuned to Claremont Motorsports Park’s official website and social media channels for updates.
Despite the rain delay, racing action will return Friday Aug 1st wirh the running of the Dean Smith Memorial 52 Laps Late Model.
