Drake Troutman records strong weekend with World of Outlaws at Swainsboro Raceway

Officially committing to the World of Outlaws Late Model Series for the 2025 season, Drake Troutman headed South to Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway on Friday afternoon for the first night of the Battle at the Crossroads.

With over 40 Late Model entries on site, Troutman ran second in his heat race and started fifth in the $12,000-to-win opener. Drake went forward and landed on the podium in third behind Bobby Pierce and Ryan Gustin.

For Saturday's $15,000-to-win finale, Drake picked up a heat race win and grabbed the pole position in the redraw. Leading a few laps at the drop of the green flag, Troutman fell backwards slightly to finish just off the podium in fourth.

The pair of Top-5 outings jumped Troutman to fourth in the World of Outlaw Point Standings.
