Troutman opens extended World of Outlaws weekend with fourth-place finish at Raceway 7

Before heading to the Northeast, the Team 22 Inc. Motorsports team stopped into Marshalltown (Iowa) Speedway on Tuesday afternoon for a $20,000-to-win FloRacing Night in America show but recorded a DNF in the main event.

Troutman then made the long haul to Raceway 7 (Conneaut, Ohio) on Thursday evening to kick off a four-day weekend with the World of Outlaw tour.

Topping his group in qualifying, Troutman ran runner-up in his heat race and started sixth in the 35-lap main event. Drake made his way into the main event and scored a Top-5 finish in fourth. He trailed Tim McCreadie, Ashton Winger, and Brian Shirley while Bobby Pierce completed the Top-5.

Losing Friday's show to Mother Nature, Troutman made Saturday's $30,000-to-win main event and made up seven positions to finish 13th.

Drake finished out the long week with another 13th-place finish at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway.
