CJ Horn adds third win of 2025 at Mason City Motor Speedway

A three-race weekend across Iowa started slowly for CJ Horn but ended on a high note with his third trip to Victory Lane of the season on Sunday.

Kicking off the tripleheader with Friday’s Malvern Bank East Series-sanctioned Tony Stewart Tribute at CJ Speedway, Horn advanced to the main event with a fourth-place finish in his heat race. Battling inside the top five in the $3,000-to-win feature, he spun on lap 18 and was ultimately scored 20th at the checkered flag.

The following night at Lee County Speedway, Horn improved his position with an eighth-to-fifth effort in his heat before recording a 10th-place finish in the 25-lap feature.

Horn closed out the weekend in dominant fashion on Sunday at Mason City Motor Speedway, where he claimed the Karl Chevrolet Pro Late Model Tour victory. Starting sixth, he took control on lap 11 and led the final 15 circuits en route to the $1,500 payday and his third win of the season.
