Top-10 finish with Malvern Bank East Series at Mason City
CJ Horn planned to kick off his weekend on Saturday at Independence Motor Speedway, but the Karl Chevrolet Pro Late Model Tour event was washed out after the Cedar Rapids, Iowa, racer opened the night with a heat race win.
Shifting to Mason City Motor Speedway on Sunday for the Malvern Bank East Series-sanctioned Father’s Day Special, Horn backed up a fourth-place finish in his heat with a seventh-place run in the $3,000-to-win A-Main.
