CJ Horn competes with Malvern Bank East Series in Wisconsin and Iowa
CJ Horn returned to action on Friday night at Wisconsin’s Lafayette County Speedway, where 20 Malvern Bank East Series entries converged on the 3/8-mile oval.
After advancing to the feature with a fifth-to-third run in his heat race, Horn’s night was cut short by electrical issues on his Horn AutoSport No. 01 Late Model, forcing him to retire early from the main event.
The team regrouped for Saturday’s $3,000-to-win program at Winneshiek Raceway, where Horn again battled lingering electrical problems. Despite the challenges, he raced his way into the feature through a B-Main and gained five positions in the 40-lap finale to finish 17th.
