Jason Feger Scores MARS Late Model Championship Victory at Quincy Raceway

Set to Tackle MARS Memorial Day Tripleheader This Weekend

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (05/21/25) – Jason Feger put an end to his early-season struggles on Friday night with a MARS Late Model Championship victory at Quincy Raceway aboard his Titan Industries / Remtek Enterprises / Show Circuit Online Sales No. 25 Longhorn Chassis Late Model.

The two-time defending MARS champion pocketed a $5,000 winner’s check for the effort, which marked the 28th MARS victory of his career.

“It was a lot of work honestly,” Feger said. “When you’re out front you don’t really know where to be. I thought that bottom would latch up, I just didn’t know when. We’ve been a little off, so it feels good to get our first MARS win of the year.”

The doubleheader weekend in his home state of Illinois kicked off with Friday’s visit to Quincy Raceway.

After registering the fifth-fastest time in his qualifying group, Feger secured a heat race victory to lock into the main event. Awarded a front-row starting position via the redraw, he led all but the opening lap en route to his third win of the season and a $5,000 payday. He crossed the finish line 1.101 seconds ahead of Ryan Unzicker, with Justin Reed completing the podium.

Saturday’s $5,000-to-win event at Highland Speedway saw a slower start for the Bloomington, Illinois driver, but he recovered by night’s end. After transferring through a consolation win, Feger charged forward nine positions in the 40-lap feature to finish ninth.

Jason sits two markers behind Tony Jackson Jr. for the lead in the MARS standings.

Feger Racing is set to return to MARS competition this Friday as the chase for the championship intensifies. The Memorial Day weekend tripleheader kicks off at Tri-City Speedway, continues Saturday with the Triple Down Shootout at Fairbury Speedway, and concludes Sunday night with the finale at Spoon River Speedway.
