Pozsgai, Archdale, Guss get wins at Spring Creek
MACOMB, Ill. (May 21, 2011) – Spring Creek Speedway added two new classes to the program last week and greatly increased its car count, as the track went back to its roots.
The track, which has been called Macomb Speedway and Macomb Raceway, started as Spring Creek Speedway many years ago and began as a small car track, with TQs being a feature at the track for many years.
That class combined with the Lightning Sprints Saturday to bring 12 cars to the track, while the Mod Lites brought 13 cars for thier first appearance in nearly two years.
There were also 16 winged mini sprints in attendance, as they prepared for a $500 to win mini sprint show scheduled for this weekend at the small 1/4 mile speedway.
