Strong Start to 2013
Lincoln, IL - The Pozsgai Motorsports team got off to a strong start to the 2013 Powri 600cc Micro Sprints presented by Speedway Motors last weekend at the Jacksonville Speedway.
The night started off by winning the heat race from the pole on the fast quarter-mile putting the #7x 8th in passing points. That is where Max would start the main event.
At the drop of the green, Max utilized the low side of the speedway to gain a few spots. A caution at the halfway point saw Max up to 5th and briefly passing for 4th. After a red flag with 7 laps to go, the handling seemed to go away, and Max was scored 8th at the finish. "After the red flag the right rear tire sealed up and wouldn't get hot enough to work again. Overall, I'm happy to score a top 10 for our first outing of the year."
Max will take the GMS Suzuki powered PMP Chassis this weekend to a pair of Powri Racing events on Friday, May 17 at the Belle-Clair Speedway and Saturday, May 18 at the Macon Speedway.
