Cody Thompson competes at Crawford County Speedway
Friday saw Cody Thompson travel to Denison, Iowa’s Crawford County Speedway for a $1,000-to-win IMCA Modified program at the 3/8-mile oval.
Thompson began his evening by driving his K&J Rentals No. 25c Modified to a runner-up result in his heat race. He started eighth out of 12 cars in the 20-lap feature but was forced to retire early and finished in the 11th position.
On Monday, Thompson was slated to race at Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa, but the program was rained out.
