12th-place finish in Hell Tour debut at Fairbury Speedway

After Friday’s event at Farmer City Raceway was rained out, McKay Wenger made his 2025 DIRTcar Summer Nationals debut on Saturday at Fairbury Speedway, where a stout field of 58 entries converged on the demanding quarter-mile oval.

While running in a transfer position during his heat race, Wenger was collected in a spin that forced him to the B-Main. There, he mounted a strong charge from eighth to third, falling just one spot short of a transfer. Awarded a provisional into the $10,000-to-win feature, Wenger made the most of the opportunity, advancing 12 positions over 50 laps to register a solid 12th-place finish.
