May 27th Race Recap

Eagle, Nebraska - After a promising start to their 2017 campaign, the LanceBuilt Graphix Team headed back to Eagle Raceway for another round of IMCA Hobby Stock action. The night began with a 7th place start in the heat race, Lance was able to make it into the transfer spot and hung on to a 4th place finish. "We almost didn't make it out for our heat race, we had a switch wire come loose after hot laps that we didn't notice until it was time to go. That put us in a rush but I was happy to put us in the main."

Starting 16th in the A-Main, Lance found himself sitting 8th at the first caution for a tip over. From that point on he would battle an ill handling car and rough track conditions. After a slip he would all to 12th where he would come across the line. After some late race contact he would be scored 18th. "Wasn't the night we were looking for, the car has been pretty fast, a lot faster than the driver thats for sure."

The LanceBuilt Graphix Team will be back in action at Eagle Raceway on June 10th. Come out and cheer them on as they look for their first top 5 finish of the season.
