Heartbreak for Cade Dillard in XR Dominator at Salina Highbanks Speedway
Cade Dillard strapped back into his CDR Racecars Modified over the weekend as he made an appearance at Salina (Okla.) Highbanks Speedway for the $100,000-to-win XR Dominator.
Locking in the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Dillard took a heat race victory on Saturday which placed him on the second-row for the 60-lap main event. Cade patiently moved to the top spot and took the lead on lap 30 before a flat tire with just a few laps remaining knocked him out of contention. Dillard was scored 12th in the final running order.
