Chris Ferguson scores podium finish in season debut at Cherokee Speedway
Breaking out a brand-new car and a new look for his 2025 debut, Chris Ferguson unloaded his No. 22 machine at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Sunday afternoon to compete in the Ginger Owens Memorial March Madness.
With 29 Super Late Models signed in for the afternoon, Ferguson qualified sixth-fastest in his group before charging from third-to-first in his heat race to take the victory. Chris started outside row two for the 50-lap, $15,000-to-win main event and landed on the podium in third. He trailed Zack Mitchell and Joseph Joiner while Carson Ferguson and Donald McIntosh completed the Top-5.
