Blair Nothdurft kicks off Speedweeks trip with Lucas Oil at Golden Isles Speedway

Making the long haul from the Midwest, Blair Nothdurft joined the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series on Friday afternoon to kick his Speedweeks trip at Golden Isles Speedway (Waynesville, Ga.) for the Super Bowl of Racing.

With a stout 44-car field on hand, Nothdurft came close but was unable to race his way into the $!2,000-to-win feature.

Inclement weather and an unfavorable forecast forced track and series officials to cancel the final two rounds of the Super Bowl of Racing on Saturday and Sunday.
