Saturated Grounds and Below Freezing Temps Postpone SAS Visit to Buckshot Speedway
(BRASSTOWN, NORTH CAROLINA) Due to heavily saturated grounds at Buckshot Speedway and the forecast for sub-freezing temperatures on Saturday night, February 22 in Clanton, Alabama, track officials and Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series officials have been forced to postpone the $5,000 to win event. A make-up date should be announced in the near future.
Next up on the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series presented by Franklin Enterprises schedule will be a visit to Southern Raceway in Milton, Florida on March 21-22. The doubleheader in the Sunshine State will open with a $3,000 to win program on that Friday night, while Saturday’s weekend finale will boast a $7,000 paycheck. Much more information - including start times, admission prices, and support classes - will be announced in the upcoming weeks leading into the double-dip.
