Weaver Wires the Field, Myers Doubles Up & Miller, Blaze Light It Up in Summer Sizzler at Tri-City!
Franklin, PA – July 25, 2025
On a hot summer Friday night, Tri-City Raceway Park was absolutely cooking—not just in temperature, but with four divisions of high-speed, high-drama racing that kept fans on their feet and the pit area buzzing. It was the Summer Sizzler in every sense, and it didn’t disappoint.
Let’s start at the top, where Stoneboro’s Jeremy Weaver scored the biggest win of his career, going wire-to-wire in the 25-lap FAST on Dirt A-Main. Weaver beat pole-sitter and series points leader Ricky Peterson Jr. to turn one on the opening lap and never gave the top spot back. The only caution of the race came early—lap two—for a mechanical issue on Jordan Ryan’s car, but once the green waved again, Weaver was in another zip code.
“I let one slip away here earlier this season,” Weaver said, clearly still thinking about redemption. “So, I just kept my foot down and never looked back. This is HUGE for me, for Bob McMillin, and everyone who works on this car. I’m pumped!”
Peterson gave chase and reeled in the leader a bit in the closing laps but couldn’t mount a serious threat. He finished second, with AJ Flick tight behind in third. The battle of the night? That was for fourth, where Cody Bova and Brandon Spithaler went at it lap after lap, with Spithaler finally getting the edge. Peterson, Spithaler, and Logan McCandless claimed the heat wins, and Bova lit the clocks with a fast time of 15.128 seconds.
Weaver’s win wasn’t just a notch in the victory column—it was a power move in front of a packed crowd, showing he’s more than capable of beating the best in the business. Statement made.
And speaking of statements, Mike Miller had one of his own in the Shawgo Real Estate Pro Stocks, leading all 20 laps en-route to his second career win on the big half mile. It wasn’t smooth sailing, though—he had to weather three caution flags, fend off Matt Bernard early, and hold off a determined Brandon Conner, who tried every trick in the book to make the bottom groove work.
The always-entertaining father-son duo of Bobby and Jake Whitling rounded out the top five, with the elder Whitling getting the better of his son this time. Travis Norman hung tough to grab fifth, while Russ Coyne and Jake Whitling took home heat race wins.
Miller was fired up in Victory Lane. “The cautions made it interesting, but the car felt awesome. We’ve been working for this one. These fans deserve a show, and I think we gave it to them.”
No doubt, Mike. That win was all grit, all gas, and a reminder that you never count out a driver with something to prove.
In the Complete Car Care Center RUSH Sprints, it was Blaze Myers once again showing why he’s the class of the field. Trent Marshall had a great run early, leading the first seven laps, but when Blaze came blazing from the 8th starting spot, the mood changed. Once he got to the front, he checked out and cruised to his sixth win of the season and 10th all-time in the division.
“Ted Hull gives me such a great car,” Myers said. “We’re just locked in this season—it feels like everything’s clicking.”
While Myers ran off, the battle for second was a thriller between Marshall and Luke Mulichak, with Mulichak eventually getting the better of the fight. Arnie Kent and Zach Morrow diced it up behind them, trading paint and positions before finishing fourth and fifth. Myers and Mulichak each earned heat race victories earlier in the night.
Blaze is more than on fire—he’s building a legacy, and every win just adds fuel to the blaze. Right now, he’s the driver everyone’s chasing—and no one’s catching.
Now, if one Myers wasn’t enough, how about two? In the Clarion County RUSH Stock Cars, veteran Billy Myers put on an absolute clinic. But it wasn’t handed to him—Cameron Kramer led the first 11 laps of the 15-lap feature and looked strong until a lap-11 caution for Cole Laskey opened the door.
On the restart, Myers pounded the cushion and blew by Kramer on the high side coming off Turn Two. From there, it was all over but the checkered flag, as Myers claimed his third win of the season.
Kramer held on for second, followed by Darr Diegelman, Raidden Wilson, and William Baker. And that wasn’t the end of it—fans got bonus action as the RUSH Stocks made up their feature from last week’s weather-canceled program.
Myers? Yeah, he won that one too leading all 10 laps, with Kramer again second and Diegelman, Wilson, and Jim Buchanan rounding out the top five. He also won the heat race earlier, making it a perfect 3-for-3 night.
“I’m just out here having a blast,” Myers said with a grin. “The track was awesome tonight, and this division is full of great racers. Big thanks to everyone who makes it happen.”
Billy didn’t just win—he swept the show and stole it. The guy’s been around a while, but Friday night proved he’s still got all the right stuff—and then some.
