Pozsgai Enjoying Career Year

Max Pozsgai and the Mike Wallace Racing Team came into the season with high expectations, but with a slower start to the season than they had anticipated, nobody could have imagined the roll they have been on since mid July.

Starting July 18th, the MWR #10C ripped off 9 straight 'top 2' finishes highlighted by 3 wins. One at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, IA on July 25th, and 2 on the pavement at Grundy County Speedway in Morris, IL on August 15th and September 5th.

The run has contapulted Max and the Mike Wallace Racing #10c to second in all three Illini Racing Series Point Standings (Overall, Pavement, Dirt) trailing only his teammate and 3x defending IRS champion, Patrick Bruns in the MWR #10B.

With MWR already locking up 1-2 in the dirt points championship and Max locking up Rookie of the Year honors, the team looks to close out the season with a 1-2 in the remaining 2 races, the first at Grundy County Speedway and the 50 lap season finale at Rockford Speedway on October 3rd. The #10C will also venture to the Jacksonville Speedway on October 9th to run a Powri sanctioned D2 midget race.
