Fourth-place outing with Southern All Stars at Penton Raceway
Wil Herrington prepared for two-step in Alabama over the weekend, competing at Penton (Ala.) Raceway on Friday evening before heading to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday night.
Among 20 Southern All Star entries on Friday, Herrington started ninth in the $7,000-to-win main event and drove to a Top-5 finish in fourth. He trailed Cory Hedgecock, Dillon Tidmore, and Michael Leach while Bo Slay completed the Top-5.
The following night, Wil recorded a 12th-place finish on a rough and tumble racetrack in the $10,000-to-win main event.
