Herrington ninth in Spring Nationals stop at Lake Cumberlan Speedway

Tackling a doubleheader through Kentucky, Wil Herrington followed the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals to Rockcastle Speedway (Mount Vernon, Ky.) on Friday evening for a $7,553-to-win main event.

Starting 16th in the A-Main, Herrington made up five positions to finish just outside the Top-10 in 11th. Wil ran two spots better on Saturday evening with a ninth-place outing at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Somerset, Ky.).

Herrington is currently runner-up to Garrett Smith in the point standings.
