Herrington secures Spring Nationals points lead at Tazewell Speedway

Following the tour to the Volunteer State, Wil Herrington joined the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) on Friday and Tazewell (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday with the Bruce Kane Racing team.

Finishing 13th in the weekend opener, Herrington turned his attention to Saturday's $21,000-to-win showdown. Surviving a tough 75-lap feature, Wil drove to a seventh-place finish in the main event.

Herrington now leads the Spring Nationals Point Standings.
