Feger records 13th-place finish in FALS Spring Shootout
Jason Feger opened his Illinois Speedweek campaign alongside 48 FloRacing Night in America competitors at LaSalle Speedway on Tuesday, as the rejuvenated quarter-mile oval hosted its first event since 2021.
Despite consistent efforts, Feger struggled to find speed throughout the evening. He posted fourth-place finishes in both his heat and B-Main, leaving him just shy of a transfer into the $20,000-to-win feature.
Feger went on to record a 19th-place finish at Spoon River Speedway on Wednesday and followed it up with a 16th-place effort at Lincoln Speedway on Thursday.
On Friday, he traveled to Farmer City Raceway for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series-sanctioned Farmer City 74, finishing 17th in the 50-lap A-Main.
He closed out Speedweek on a high note with his best finish of the stretch—coming home 13th in Saturday’s $30,000-to-win FALS Spring Shootout at Fairbury Speedway.
